The government announced today that schools would be shut from Friday 20th March for an indefinite period of time, in order to help slow the spread of the coronavirus.
However children of parents who are key workers and children who are the most vulnerable will continue to have school provision. This includes children with Educational Healthcare Plans. As all students at Hope Corner School have EHCPs, the school will remain open as usual at this time and students should be sent to school without disruption.
Parents should still be aware that self-isolating of the entire household must be followed if any family member displays symptoms of a dry continuous cough or temperature over 37.8 degrees. Should someone display either of these symptoms, you will need to inform us and your child must not come to school for 14 days.
